This course is for all of the small firm architects (new and seasoned) who are looking for a better way to manage their company and projects.

When does the course start and finish?
The course starts now and never ends! It is a completely self-paced online course - you decide when you start and when you finish.
How long do I have access to the course?
How does lifetime access sound? After enrolling, you have unlimited access to this course for as long as you like - across any and all devices you own.
What if I am unhappy with the course?
We would never want you to be unhappy! If you are unsatisfied with your purchase, contact us in the first 30 days and we will give you a full refund.
How much time will it take to setup?
We've designed the course to be completed in pieces. We recommend blocking off 1-2 hours at a time to progress through the videos and set up your company as you go along.
Do I have to pay for Smartsheet to take the course?
You don't have to buy Smartsheet to complete the course but you will need to sign up for the free trial. We recommend signing up for the free trial when you're ready to take action on the course so that you can test drive the course and the software at the same time. If you implement the course during the 30 trial you'll have a good sense of if you'd like to continue with Smartsheet or not. If you decide to continue with Smartsheet you'll need to purchase the Business Plan to retain access to the dashboards and reports.
How much is the additional monthly cost to implement this system?
There's no monthly cost for the course but there is a monthly cost for the subscription to Smartsheet. Pricing will vary depending on which Smartsheet version you use. To get access to the dashboard functionality we recommend you buy the lowest level of the Business version of Smartsheet. Since you can have unlimited free collaborators AND you can change the licensed users at any time it's unlikely you'll need more than 3 licensed users.
Will the course show me how to use Smartsheet to replace my time tracking or financial software (Quickbooks, Freshbooks, Harvest, etc.)
No. But it will show you how to use the software to aggregate of all that information.
Is Smartsheet paying you to do this?
Not exactly. We'll receive a small referral fee if you sign up for Smartsheet through our referral link - but that's the extent of it. We're doing this to share a tool that has helped us immensely in hopes of helping other small firms.

I’m Nakita and I am a busy woman. I run a small firm practice, I'm on multiple boards (both as a director and as chair), and am always trying to get more time out of the day. I co-founded my firm many years ago after a personal tragedy and as a young professional I realized I had a lot to learn. My fascination with software and streamlining came from interacting with other firm leaders and realizing we were struggling with similar issues.

I was recently named the 2018 Emerging Architect by the DC Chapter of the American Institute of Architects. I love connecting with other firm owners and managers and masterminding common problems to streamline processes.
